Preparing the Garden for a Children's Craft Party
If you want to provide your child a great birthday celebration, one unique and creative idea is to host a garden party. Instead of playing games all throughout the event, your daughter and her guests will be painting ceramics and creating other crafts. This activity will let them bring out their creativity.
The best place to hold a craft party is at the garden where they can get all the light they want. To prepare the garden, make the scenery appropriate for painting. You can put tables around the lawn and cover them with paper table cloth. You can hire garden furniture that comes with tabletop umbrellas to protect the children from too much sun exposure. You can also rent bean bags and let the kids sit on them as they paint.
Since the party is for children, it is alright if you do not put too much decoration. Cute balloons and festoons will do. Pastel-coloured balloons, such as pink or yellow, will look good against the green plants of the garden. You can hang the festoons on tree branches and plants.
For the food, prepare light snacks because the kids are not that active. You can whip up ham and cheese sandwiches. Peanut butter and jelly is a favourite among the young ones. Also, sliced fruits on ice cream will delight your child and her guests. For the drinks, you can give them lemonade and other fruit juices. If you want to be creative, you can put jelly on the juice. This party idea may be simple, but it will surely make the children happy!
